304

Extrapolated from the 204, the 304, released in 1969, aims to occupy the niche of medium-sized engines. From its predecessor, it keeps the wheelbase and the central part of the body.

On the other hand, the stern was lengthened of 15cm, so much so that the modernized prow, evokes with its trapezoidal headlights that of the 504.

In 1970, the 304 coupes and convertibles replaced their 204 counterparts. The 304 proved to be a model of commercial conquest for Peugeot without its success harming the 204.
