Launch of a new activity in 2021: the restoration and sale of old vehicles

To mark the 210th anniversary of the Peugeot brand, the L’Aventure Peugeot association is creating a new activity: the restoration and sale of old vehicles. The vehicles will be restored in the workshops of the Musée de L’Aventure Peugeot in Sochaux and will receive a certificate of authenticity at the end of the restoration before being put up for sale.

The first car to be restored was a legendary car for the lion brand: the black Peugeot 205 GTi with a 1.9L engine. This restoration, carried out in the Aventure PEUGEOT workshops in Sochaux, shows the talent and know-how of the employees specialised in the various trades necessary for a quality restoration: mechanics, shapers, saddlers and sheet metal workers.

This new activity is only possible thanks to the supply of spare parts. For seven years, L’Aventure Peugeot has been working in this field and has transformed its logistics warehouse to build up its stock. Historical subcontractors are called upon to complete the missing parts and 3D additive manufacturing can be envisaged when the manufacture of a part is no longer possible.

From 2021, a space dedicated to quality restored vehicles bearing the “Par l’Aventure Peugeot” stamp will be set up in the association’s platform. Private vehicles will also be offered in this area once they have received the “quality” label.

This new sales activity will be launched in 2021. In the meantime, the Pièces & Services teams are still working hand in hand to help you maintain and restore your classic vehicles.
