U23
The Type 23 or nicknamed “U23” after the war (U for Utility) is one of the longest produced vehicles, from 1935 to 1969, i.e. 34 years of career with finally very few evolutions (except for the hydraulic brakes, the diesel engine from 1936 and different body styles) because it is enduring and reliable. Available as a flatbed truck, but also very popular in its coach version, used by the Compagnie des Transports Citroën (1931-1978).
