Roland de la Poype, CEO of SEAB, which specialises in plastics, conceived of this vehicle as both a utility and leisure vehicle. Derived from the Dyane and the 2CV Sahara concept, the Mehari finally became a fully-fledged Citroën, launched in May 1968. A nod to history?
