DS
When it was exhibited at the 1955 Paris Motor Show, the DS was a UFO, and its aerodynamic design attracted a lot of attention. Its “teardrop” profile, conceived by designer Flaminio Bertoni, clearly distinguishes it from the other vehicles presented the same year. This futuristic aspect earned it the nickname of “Flying Saucer” (or “Show Bomb”).
