Bébé Peugeot

At the beginning of the 20th century, the automobile became more democratic. Following its collaboration with Ettore Bugatti, the lion brand offers a small entry-level car, the Bébé. It was a huge success. The advertising slogan says it all: “a penny a kilometre”; the Bébé Peugeot costs less to maintain than a horse.
In 1913, victories in the Coupe Internationale des Cyclecars and the Mont Ventoux Hill Climb contributed enormously to its fame.
Produced at 3000 units in 1913, its career was stopped by the Great War…
