Peugeot 205

The 205 is presented to the dealers a few months before the marketing date. They can offer it to their customers.

The first deliveries coincide with the launch date of the vehicle on 23 February 1983. The new small lioness is declined in 3 and 5 doors, convertible and even a special series Lacoste. It was a great success.

A real plebiscite that allows the lion brand to attract a new clientele, seduced by the quality of the product. The 205 forges an image in competition. In 1984, the GTi gives a last sporty touch to the whole range.

Well designed, it allows a good profit margin. Especially since the top-of-the-range versions represent the majority of orders.

It beats the production record of the brand with its 5,278,054 models manufactured. Mythical, 205 is definitely a great number!
