Immerse into the heart of French automotive history!
Major player in the preservation of French automotive heritage, the association L'Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS will be present from 5 to 9 February in Paris, Porte de Versailles, in Hall 1 with the DS Automobiles brand to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the DS, and in Hall 3 with L'Amicale Citroën & DS France and several clubs affiliated to L'Aventure Peugeot.

Seventy years ago, on October 6, 1955, the DS was presented at the Paris Motor Show, under the majestic vault of the Grand Palais. A masterpiece of innovation, the DS became instantly iconic among the public. Intended to represent the avant-garde of French industry, through its unique technical architecture, its slender style, its driving pleasure, its comfort and its safety, the DS has acquired the status of legend, becoming an artistic symbol, beyond the automotive world.

The 70th anniversary of this icon will be celebrated throughout 2025, starting with the Rétromobile show for which DS Automobiles is a partner. The DS Brand, founded in 2014, builds on this exceptional heritage, that of the DS of 1955, which embodies the values of avant-garde and daring and which continues to nourish each of the Brand’s current creations. The official poster for Rétromobile 2025 features the DS Ballons, imagined by advertising executive Claude Puech in 1959. This “unprecedented” advertising object, symbol of extraordinary comfort, will be reborn from its ashes thanks to an ambitious educational project carried out in partnership with the GARAC (Ecole Nationale des Professions de l’Automobile / National School of Automotive Professions).
L’Aventure DS Automobiles will accompany the DS Automobiles brand at the Paris show to celebrate this anniversary by exhibiting 5 of the 20 DS and ID preserved and maintained in its collections: ID 19 Confort from 1960/ DS 21 Pallas from 1967 semi-finishedopen accessible to visitors/ DS 21 Prestige from 1972/ DS 23 ie Pallas from 1975 in Hall 1 and the DS 21 with V6 engine Maserati of the «Ronde Hivernale de Chamonix 1972» on the stand of L’Aventure with the Euro SM Club.
IN HALL 3 AT THE SERVICE OF THE PASSIONATE
L’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS is the key to the entire historical universe of the Peugeot, Citroën and DS Automobiles brands. Beyond the vehicles on display, visitors will have an overview of the association’s various areas of expertise: collections, spare parts for classic vehicles, certificates of conformity and certificates, unique reception area… It will also be an opportunity to join L’Aventure and thus contribute to the preservation of this exceptional automotive heritage and join a community of committed enthusiasts.
From 5 to 9 February, immerse into the heart of French automotive history with L’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS!
L’Aventure Peugeot and six of its affiliated clubs invite you to take a journey into the heart of this beautiful French automobile adventure, rich in innovations and performances. Come and discover the Peugeot 204, 404, 504 Riviera and 406 coupe and exchange with members of the clubs present: CAMP (Club des Automobiles Miniatures Peugeot), Amis de Darl’mat, Club 404, L’Amicale 504, L’Amicale 204-304 and Club Coupé 406.
This show will also be the occasion to launch registrations for the IAPM (International L’Aventure Peugeot Meeting) 2025 which will take place from 20 to 22 June in the Netherlands. A very anticipated and appreciated event by the members of L’Aventure Peugeot. The edition of this tourist rally in classic Peugeot is organized by the Association Peugeot Hollande, celebrating 50 this year.
L’Aventure Citroën with the Amicale Citroën & DS France and eight of its clubs have chosen as their theme “Citroën, it’s in Paris!” to represent the history of the Brand and its legacy left in the French capital. Around a 3 m tall replica of the Eiffel Tower, made for the 100th anniversary of its illumination by André Citroën, visitors will be able to admire a CX Limousine Turbo 2 (L’Agence CX), a 2 CV Spécial (A2CF), a 5HP Trèfle (Club Citroën de France), a 1934 C4 (C4-C6 Historique Club), a Méhari (Méhari Club de France), a Traction Avant 15-6H used by General de Gaulle (La Traction Universelle), a DS 20 break (DS-ID Club de France), the DS 21 «Chamonix 1972» of L’Aventure (space of the Euro SM Club) as well as beautiful collectible miniatures presented by the Citromini club. A modern electric Ami will complete this exhibition on the space of the Amicale Citroën & DS France, in a nod to the Ami that will be to win during the tombola of the great CitroDays event at Lac du Der from 15 to 17 August 2025.
L’Aventure Automobile in Poissy (CAAPY) will of course also be present on the space of 360 m2 of L’Aventure and will exhibit a 1966 SIMCA 936 prototype.
In addition, 5 vehicles from L’Aventure Citroën (GS, CX, XM, BX, C5) will be on display at the Youngtimers Magazine stand in Hall 3 and the 2000 Formula 1 Prost-Peugeot AP03 from L’Aventure Peugeot will be part of the exhibition “La Formule 1 tricolore des années 60 à nos jours” in Hall 2.
