The Art’Cars
Citroën SURVOLT by the artist Françoise Nielly (2010)
The Concept SURVOLT is certainly sporty. Equipped with a 300 horsepower electric motor, with compact dimensions. The Citroën brand decided to entrust its Concept to the artist Françoise Nielly in 2010, one year after its presentation to the general public. Known for her works in bright and tangy colors, she transforms this concept into a real work of art.
Peugeot 108 Tattoo by tattoo artist Xoil (2014)
In 2014, Peugeot and the tattoo artist Xoil joined forces to present a unique example of the new PEUGEOT 108. Xoil took over the city car to mix the artists universe with that of the lion brand.
The result is an unprecedented performance in the automotive world and the world of tattooing. His work becomes one with the car: 108 Tattoo Concept, the Lion with artistic skin.
Citroën E-EMEHARI by artist Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (2018)
In 2018, the Méhari celebrates its half-century. 50 years after its launch and 2 years after the arrival of E-MEHARI, this atypical convertible remains a symbol of French automotive audacity. For this emblematic anniversary, Citroën has called on designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac to design an exclusive E-MEHARI Art Car, a veritable graphic design manifesto celebrating 50 years of freedom and 50 years of creation.
And finally… to celebrate 10 years of the RCZ this year…
Peugeot RCZ-R Art Car by artist Howard Sayé-Vivien (2015)
We owe this tribute to Philippe Beaugé, Peugeot dealer in Le Mans, who wanted to salute the end of production of an vehicle which has something of a cult following! Philippe Beaugé therefore launched a competition to create an Art Car based on an RCZ-R, which was won by Howard Sayé-Vivien. This young artist completely dressed up the vehicle to give it a very special style: hats off to the artist!
